This is a well written . . . fictionalized . . . version
of a true story.
I am riveted
and
troubled
at the same time.

The author is Lisa Wingate.
I don't know her
(too bad for me)
She has won lots of awards 
and 
lifts people when she speaks.

I vaguely remember news stories
uncovering situations like this
when I was young. 
 
This story fills in some gaps of understanding in my world.
I wonder, if you have time to read this book,
what you will think - or remember -
or do
or hope.

It's a Good Read.

It's holiday time.
Our entire team is off
We don't return to work for two weeks
ack!

I'm clearing spaces so play with colors

found this scribble from long ago -
it was a  personal dream -

one i still hope for, actually . . . 

that "hoped for" dream seems unreachable
and yet
I am packing up -
getting ready to start again . . . 
Who knows?
New Adventures can become anything -

For instance
I was intending to go to 
Scotland
and
was "sent here" instead

So
as something new and different presents itself
perhaps
this time
