End of last year – I “fired” every place I was singing and/or speaking. I had been considering, but tried one awesome thing first. I hired the most magnificent musician/person in our region. He knew I was concerned and frustrated, and offered some peacekeeping wisdom for me to try. I followed the advice, thinking I was embarking on a new working relationship.
When the morning arrived, the musician could not wait to leave the building. He actually had fear in his eyes from the strange behavior displayed at the event.
Knowing my original assessment was correct, I “fired” everything/place that caused me concern.
Six months later I have a list of one place I am willing to visit, sing and tell faith-filled stories. I love this diverse group of people. Their shepherd has been a friend of mine since 1982, the year I was “sent” here.

My friend creates terrific flyers.
