Do you remember “Twister?”

Twister was a popular game a long time ago.
A mat with colored dots was placed on the floor
people stood around the mat
A spinner whirled - then stopped on a color.
Players rushed to place a body part on the right color dot
Very soon
All the players were tangled.

I feel tangled like that just now.

See:
I noticed a short saying
2 Peter 1:15
The was from the "NIV" translation.
I used to sing verses from the "NIV"

(right now I read from the translation my Foster Mother preferred . . . I miss her - - I miss feeling like I had a family. but that's another story.)

Anyway, it says:
"For this very reason,
make every effort to add to your faith
goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;"

I like that.
It's helpful
and works for me.

Then
I made the grand mistake of looking at other English translations.
whew
All those fancy words
saying essentially the same thing
but
differently.
Be VERY Happy I'm not listing some of them
Because
That's how I remembered the feeling of being all twisted up with others on a small colored dot plastic mat on the floor.

Speaking tomorrow to people I love
who live in a quaint village
by a lake.

love & love,
💙
