I used to belong to an online family of sketchers.
We belonged to a "Skool" - 
and developed good friends from everywhere internet.
We encourage each other to create better art
And
We learned enough about each other
to care
encourage
cheer
it seemed a safe, wonderful place 
to and for a lot of us.

Too bad for us, after investing So Much of ourselves
A new relationship/understanding
developed between the owner of the "Skool" and a new found significant other  . . . 
and,
We were deleted.
Some of us have surfaced on other social media -
Others were so upset -
They disappeared.

Of course,  we all wish the very best for all our friends.
It has been a very long time.
The "Skool" is completely different than it once was . . .

Well, here's the odd thing.
People have been sending
memories they saved from times past . . . 
hmmmm . . . 

Up those stairs
every
Tuesday Morning 
at 10 am
for many, many years
Storytime Magic Happened.

This tiny person
arrived with her mom
extra early
to discuss literature
and important events in her life.
Her new family was here
for Dad's Higher Education.
And
When it was time to return home
to Australia,
 her "Pirate" Grandfather
and 
Marvelous "Grandmother"
There was another teeny sister added to their family.

This photo
arrived today
from
 "Down Under"
 reminding us of 
blessings.

Such a funny thing.
I used to post A LOT
on several blogs.

Now, I am expected to 
"create a presence online"
and
-argh-
I have nothing to share.

I'll have to "work on it."

Now, here is my "fur & whiskers" moment
from two days ago.

See, I have thrown away everything I could find
from "before"
photos
newspaper clippings
you know the drill . . . . 

"out with the old"
take a deep breath
crate something good
with what's left.

Then, someone 
(who has the same birthday, but doesn't know it -)
I was/and still am
completely crazy about his parents . . . 

Posted a photo from years ago
when I had just started to
"THINK BIG."

Now, what's a girl to think about that?
All I could say was:
"Oh. My Fur & Whiskers!"
ha-ha-ha!!!

life is weird

I am going to post this
as a "marker" for me . . 
But, I suspect it is for sharing . . . 

This girl came here -
(was "sent" by her pastor)
to serve.
She arrived fully equipped-
and
It seemed to her
even though there were plenty of challenges
what she was "sent" to accomplish
was "like a miracle."

While she was "following the dots" . . . 
attending to each thing as it presented itself
Believing with her entire being
every step was Directed  . . . . 

Others came
to lie
steal
and destroy.

She asked for help . . but, humans did not understand.

Eventually, everything seemed dismantled.

Today, that same girl 
believes
what she saw was/is a teeny taste of
 "The Kingdom come . . . . "
a teeny portion of the answer 
given as a peek towards our Future . . . 

She misses "the work"
and
today she gets to sing and share
with a group of lovely people
she loves dearly.

I wonder, 
(which is why I'm creating a post,)
if this can be counted . . . 
as 
'more to come.'

This makes me feel at home inside myself.
It seems to me
I would greatly enjoy a long walk
to learn and enjoy what God has given us.

This adventure took place right after our Civil War
and
even though the walk happens across the great expanse of land
the adventure, the people John Muir encounters
is framed by the ongoing changes
taking place
after this life changing battle.

John Muir was from Scotland
He traveled, 
wandered across our planet
and shared his encounters,
his thoughts,
and our Natural World
in a simple, honest manner.
His life and work
cause me to feel at home.

I heartily recommend this small volume.

I am amazed
at all the ways
life has changed
altered.

I wonder if it's been the same for you?

So, okay, okay - 
I hope YOU are "A-Okay"
and
 you are mostly happy.

Some things about me shifted.
Remember when I posted constantly - about everything?

I'll stop wondering about that
and
simply begin to share again.

BUT
I'll continue 
to wish 
Every Good Thing for You.

We parked far 
so we could walk extra.
We saw people - 
  bicycles,  children, 
 and
 puppies on leashes . . . . like me.

We took pictures.
I got treats for being good.
Maybe I'll share with you again sometime.
