| Don’t ever take a fence down until you know why it was put up. – Robert Frost |
End of last year – I “fired” every place I was singing and/or speaking. I had been considering, but tried one awesome thing first. I hired the most magnificent musician/person in our region. He knew I was concerned and frustrated, and offered some peacekeeping wisdom for me to try. I followed the advice, thinking I was embarking on a new working relationship.
When the morning arrived, the musician could not wait to leave the building. He actually had fear in his eyes from the strange behavior displayed at the event.
Knowing my original assessment was correct, I “fired” everything/place that caused me concern.
Six months later I have a list of one place I am willing to visit, sing and tell faith-filled stories. I love this diverse group of people. Their shepherd has been a friend of mine since 1982, the year I was “sent” here.

My friend creates terrific flyers.

Rain is a good reason to learn a little more about this software. So, here I am. The learning curve is a little steep – BUT, that makes everything so much more fun . . . like an adventure, don’t you think?
I suppose I could play with making a list, hm?
Now, I’m spending these few moments to warm up to this new – awesome-sauce blog.
And You? – How are things going in your world?

I’ve finally removed the other blogs. SO – “Here we are!”
I have to assume you’ve found me, if you are reading this. So, Welcome! I still have a lot of learning with this new software. I like it, it’s fun.
I hope all is well in your world. Feel free to write, or email – if you’d like. I hope all your people are brave – fiercely happy – doing everything they can to “sparkle” – cheer others – and, maybe even sing. If they/you are singing, I hope you SING LOUD!

Lyric to a song I used to sing – although – I admit – I change lyrics to meet expectations of my heart. The entire line – my way: “Blow the Trumpet – Sound the Alarm Love is in The Temple – Everybody Bow”
The graphic? Yep, me “sketching”. and I like it so, I use it a lot.
In fact, this scribble trumpet has now surfed from one blog to another. Means something in my heart, I guess.
Happy First Day of May!

This is what we sent today.

It would be nice to walk outside and see this.

Have you seen him. yet? In a few minutes I’ll be outside with my teeny camera capturing this week’s version of him.
When people ask about his breed, I say “Surprise Package!” He’s cute, super smart and displays herding abilities . . . .
Like many awesome opportunities, we are working towards mutual understanding – and – both of us seem to be trying to make ourselves the very best of friends.

Dark Skies, Strong Winds, Rain and Hail. Weather Reporters urge us to find shelter.
Then, the sun comes up and the world all around has transformed.
Everywhere we look – It’s Spring.

You are visiting a new home. I have just begun to look around and figure out how things work and where “stuff” will go. If you are visiting, welcome . . . you can cheer me along as I find my way around.
