We visited a huge, "foresty" park this morning
but
I haven't built the habit of carrying the teeny camera, yet
so, I can't share it with you
until next time
BUT,
We went to do chores later in the day
and visited a teeny park -

This sits right where we enter.
The park is super narrow
and one block long.

It's part of a loooong trail
that meanders across miles.
It connects with lots of interesting history.

This is a small stairway
kinda hidden by bushes.
They lead to a nice library.
sending smile to you today.

Our Learning Center
has a collection of great books
for every reading level.
One day I was shelving
and opened
"Song of the Buffalo Boy"
by Sherry Garland
I finally returned to read it.
It's about young people during the war in Vietnam.
This is a Middle Reader
well done.
and
I suspect I'll read more by Sherry Garland.
I just wanted to share.
Maybe you are encouraging someone to read
or
you are looking for your next adventure.
It is true
entire worlds wait for us
inside a good book.

Weekly Inspiration
"I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it."
― Pablo Picasso

I don't visit enough
to remember simple things.
Isn't that silly?
There's a short list of things
I'd like to do.
I have a suspicion
there's some little fear creature
whispering in the space
where songs used to sing.
SO, This Morning
I opened the Greatest Song Book of All Time.
and
SANG.
Yeppers,
The Cure?
Sing LOUD!

ps – Once I refused to eat apples because “they made my teeth itch.” Now I like them . . . giggle.
